Ploy is a former journalist who works as a Consultant at PLMR, specialising within the health, social care and animal welfare sectors.
She joined PLMR in May 2018 and supports clients across a variety of media engagement and public affairs projects. Seven years of journalism experience means Ploy knows how to identify a story and ensure clients receive the best media coverage.
Having previously been editor of specialist business title HealthInvestor UK, Ploy has extensive knowledge of health, social care and animal health in the UK. She has written for The Guardian, The New Statesman, CityMetric, Horse & Hound, The Art Newspaper, Teach Secondary and Third Sector on social care, animals, arts/heritage and education, too.
In addition, Ploy has also done various pieces of voluntary work in the past. She provided media advice to Historic Royal Palaces and Guide Dogs, been a mentor for The Social Mobility Foundation, and assisted StreetVet UK.
Ploy graduated from the University of Cambridge with a BA (Hons.) in Classics in 2010.
