Niamh is an award-winning corporate communications professional who is skilled in providing the highest-level media relations and communications advice to clients across a range of sectors including tech, sustainability, health, professional services, and the third sector.

Niamh is passionate about designing and implementing communications strategies that protect and uplift her clients’ reputations, and is always determined to deliver the strategically valuable coverage her clients require. She has fostered and maintains positive relationships with journalists across a variety of sectors, and works closely with clients to pinpoint opportunities for media engagement. Niamh is also well versed in supporting clients on crisis communications issues at local and national levels to ensure the upkeep of their hard-earned reputations.

The quality of Niamh’s work has been recognised by national award bodies, having been named Young Communicator of the Year at CorpComms Magazine Awards in 2023, and been shortlisted by the PRCA for the Douglas Smith Prize for Young Public Affairs Professionals in 2019.

Before joining PLMR, Niamh volunteered as a researcher for a Member of Parliament in the House of Commons, before joining the British Council to work as a Policy and External Relations Intern. These placements saw her lead on a number of projects, including departmental research and the organisation of parliamentary events.

Niamh graduated from Queen Mary, University of London, with a First Class degree in Politics.
