Integrated communications agency PLMR has enjoyed more national awards success at the 2019 PRCA Digital Awards.
Team Digital was shortlisted for Digital PR and Communications Agency of the Year, going up against some of the biggest names in digital marketing. As a small collection of just five specialist consultants, the nomination highlights the incredible work done by the team each and every day to create engaging campaigns and results-driven solutions for their clients both big and small.
Additionally, Senior Digital Manager at PLMR, Alex Hackett was named the Digital Professional of the Year, an award that celebrates the innovative practice and contribution of digital specialists to this ever-growing sector.
Alex has been a team member at PLMR for four years, beginning as a Social Media Executive in a digital team of just two consultants. Since then, he has diversified his skills, delivered game-changing campaigns for clients, and been integral in the growth of the Team Digital, which now consists of five consultants specialising in various aspects of digital marketing.
In the past year, Alex has also created our new flagship planning product: Mapdragon – an online consultation platform that allows developers to gauge the responses of local residents and businesses to new planning applications and proposed new building projects. This has brought the planning process into the fast-paced digital world, allowing those who cannot attend consultation events to voice their opinions, resulting in a more diverse and comprehensive set of comments.
The PRCA Judges said that they were impressed with Alex’s commitment to delivering high-quality work, but also his commitment to training and development. As one of the founding members of the team, Alex has helped to teach and upskill a number of team members, both in Team Digital and the wider PLMR team, helping everyone to become more digitally-minded in the world of modern PR and public affairs.
