Public Affairs Firm PLMR wins ‘Best Agency to Work For’

Political Lobbying & Media Relations (PLMR) - one of London’s fastest growing public affairs and PR agencies - is celebrating this week after winning

the newly introduced category “Best Agency to Work For” award in the Public Affairs News (PAN) Awards 2010

The PAN Awards are designed to allow those in the Public Affairs profession to stand up and showcase their best work. The ceremony was held at the Brewery in the City of London and the award was presented by BBC chief political correspondent Laura Kuenssberg.

Following a presentation and question and answer session by junior members of the team with some of the 24 strong judging panel, PLMR fought off a number of larger agencies to be selected as the official “Best Agency to Work For”.

Since being founded in 2006, PLMR has made an extraordinary commitment to its staff through a quality of benefits and opportunities unrivalled in the sector. PLMR has gone from strength to strength over the last twelve months, more than doubling the number of employees and extending their reach into new sectors. Integral to this sustained growth has been the provision of training, support and unique opportunities for all members of the team.

Speaking after the Awards Ceremony, PLMR’s MD Kevin Craig said:

“From day one, PLMR’s ethic has been to ensure that all staff are given every opportunity to develop and that they are happy in their role. We have so many talented individuals and I’m proud of all the members of my team who make PLMR such a great place to work.”

“Winning this accolade in the sixth year of the Public Affairs News Award is wonderful and the whole team are absolutely chuffed.”
