PLMR Consultant Shortlisted for Prestigious Young Consultant Award
This prestigious award recognises the very best young consultants working within UK’s public affairs and lobbying industry. The topic for this year’s submission was: “What impact does a minority Conservative government have upon the public affairs industry?”
Liz joined PLMR as part of the recent acquisition of boutique communications agency Mango Marketing earlier this year. Prior to this move, she worked in the education sector to provide support through editorial work, whitepapers, and digital awareness campaigns for companies, charities, international non-profits, and even government bodies. Liz transitioned within the company to become a key consultant within PLMR’s growing digital team, that works across a wide range of sectors to provide innovative digital solutions for a number of clients. Digital public affairs campaigning has become one of PLMR’s fastest growing areas of the business, with current and former clients including Ella’s Kitchen, Save Our Early Years and A Fair Tax on Flying.
This is the third year running in which a PLMR consultant has been nominated for the prestigious Douglas Smith Prize. Previous PLMR finalists include Account Manager Stefanie Lehmann, Senior Account Director Zoe Chadwick, and Account Director Tim Knight.
PLMR Managing Director, Elin de Zoete, said:
“We are delighted to see Liz’s skills recognised with this well-deserved nomination. Liz is a rising star within PLMR and we’re overjoyed that her abilities have been recognised by the judges. We are incredibly proud of the wealth of talented young consultants PLMR has within its ranks.”
The results of the 2017 Public Affairs Awards and the Douglas Smith Prize will be announced on Thursday 14th December at the Park Plaza London Riverbank.
