The Conservation Volunteers (TCV), a national charity with over 2,000 community groups across Britain chose PLMR to help them achieve a better national profile. PLMR started working with TCV at the end of 2013 and within less than a month of working with them, PLMR was able to secure coverage for them in the front page of the Telegraph as well as coverage in The Times, The Express, The Telegraph online and the Mail Online, as well as local and regional coverage for an important event.
Whilst PLMR’s relationship with TCV is at the very early stages, PLMR’s approach from the beginning has been to become an integral part of their team, with the aim of understand what TCV does best and play to their strengths in the media. This has involved regular contact with TCV centres across the country, a visit to a TCV Employment and Training Services centre to understand the trading arm of the charity, and most recently a facilitated key messaging strategy session with TCV’s senior management team run by PLMR’s Head of Training and Conferences, Steven Gauge.
PLMR is very much looking forward to using TCV’s passion and experience for transforming open spaces and improving the health and prospects of individuals and communities to help them achieve the recognition they deserve.
