PLMR POLLING: FREE DENTAL CHECKS MOST POPULAR POLICY

58% of the general population think that dental check-ups should be made free. In polling commissioned by PLMR and conducted by Censuswide of major “free” policies in the Labour manifesto, it was found that making dental check-ups free is the most popular announcement, followed closely by personal at-home care in England for over-65s (55%). Much less favoured where Labour’s commitment to free tuition fees (32%) and fibre-optic broadband for all homes and businesses (22%).

The research was conducted with 1,001 respondents aged 18+ in the UK between 25.11.2019 – 27.11.2019. The survey was conducted from a nationally representative sample of UK adults who were asked: “What areas do you think most need to be made “free”, if any? (tick up to three)”
