The Week Ahead in Holyrood – 02/05/2017

On Tuesday there will be an Environment, Climate Change and Land Reform committee debate on Deer Management in Scotland. The debate will focus on the 2016 Scottish Natural Heritage report to the Scottish Government. This will be followed by a Rural Economy and Connectivity Committee debate on the Report on a Review of Priorities for Crofting Law Reform. Finally, Members’ Business will be led by Scottish Greens MSP John Finnie, and focus on Ship-to-ship Oil Transfers in the Cromarty and Moray Firths.
In a departure from the norm, both General Questions and First Minister’s Questions will take place on Wednesday. This will be followed by Portfolio Questions which will focus on Education and Skills. The Scottish Parliament will not sit on Thursday due to the local authority elections which will take place across the whole of Scotland on the 4th of May.
