Campaign Advice

PLMR’s team offers an exceptional range of political experience to our clients. We provide outstanding campaigns advice based on years of experience and a track record of success.

Colleagues have worked across the political spectrum in Westminster (both Houses), the devolved assemblies and Brussels, in think tanks and party offices, and in local authorities across the UK.

The following provides a snapshot of the depth and breadth of outside of work experience we can bring to campaigns.  Managing Director Kevin Craig was elected three times as a Councillor for a London Borough and stood as a Parliamentary Candidate in 2005 and was an Election Agent for a Member of Parliament in 2010, where her oversaw a majority increase despite boundary changes that reduced the size of the electorate.  Chris Calland and Peter Elms campaigned in Ohio for Barack Obama in 2008 and in local government elections across England Elin Twigge has worked for leading green think-tank SERA and an inner London education charity.  David Madden has worked for a Liberal Democrat Peer on Health issues and Lisa Bailey was a Senior Press Officer at Conservative HQ.  Will Davies  was a key member of the Overnight Media Response Team in the 2010 General Election at Liberal Democrat National HQ.

Alexis Darby has fought and won elections in England and Scotland as a former Political Organiser and in 2008 went to Africa to present on “How to Win Elections” to the Botswana Congress Party.  Ben Davies worked on the Conservative Party’s Globalisation and Global Poverty Policy Group and is currently working on Boris Johnson’s campaign for the 2012 London Mayor elections in his spare time.  Nathan Hollow has been active for the Liberal Democrats in Cornwall for over six years and was Campaign Manager for the ‘Yes Campaign’ for the whole county in the 2011 Alternative Vote Referendum.

David Noble has worked on cross-party initiatives in Northern Ireland, including organising election workshops with The Democratic Unionist Party and Sinn Fein, whilst Rukayah Sarumi was the 2011 recipient of the Olive Morris Memorial Award, given to young women engaged in radical grassroots political activity.
