On a daily basis, Tim works to provide political and media relations support to clients in the Renewable Energy, Education, and Health & Social Care sectors. Tim is a key member of the team working on a ground-breaking scheme to build Europe’s first sustainable biomass from waste power station, and also supports the on-going communications around the opening of the UK’s first fully funded state boarding school.
His PR work has contributed to the profile of clients across all sectors being raised on a local, sectoral and national level, and he is well versed in liaising with external bodies on their behalf. Tim is also responsible for monitoring key developments in clients’ areas of interest, allowing them to react quickly to the changing political landscape.
Before joining PLMR in early 2011, Tim worked for Neptune Renewable Energy, who are at the forefront of efforts to develop sites and technologies for tidal electricity generation. This involved identifying and liaising with manufacturing partners, and investigating and pursuing public and private funding opportunities. He has also worked for the European Commission in Lyon, in its public information division.
Tim is a Masters graduate of King’s College London, where he studied Modern History, and holds a BSc in Politics and International Relations from the University of Southampton.
