Team - Ros Trinick
As an Account Director at PLMR, Ros plays a central role on a series of PLMR’s accounts across a range of sectors, including Health & Social Care, Planning, IT and Technology and the Third Sector. In this role she acts as day-to-day lead on a number of key accounts, as well as providing strategic input.
As part of her media relations role, PLMR Ros has consistently delivered positive media coverage, nationally, sectorally and locally, on behalf of her clients. She also specialises in crisis communications, handling reputation management issues at all levels and working with journalists from the UK’s leading publications. Ros’ expertise in this field led her to provide comment and analysis live on Al Jazeera News.
In planning lobbying, Ros has played an integral role supporting developments that are tailored to meet clients’ needs and local aspirations. From leading independent providers, to the UK’s most famous nightclub, Ros’ experience spans a host of sectors and has involved managing communications with a variety of stakeholder groups.
Before joining PLMR, Ros worked as a Campaigns Account Manager at a PR and Social Marketing agency in Sheffield, where she was responsible for clients from the public, private and third sector and gained in-depth knowledge of various fields including Health and Social Care, transport and social housing.
Prior to this Ros was a Researcher at Global Government Relations, DLA Piper’s Communications and Public Affairs arm. In this role she worked to secure planning permission for a major supermarket chain, provided media monitoring and crisis management support.
In her spare time Ros has been a blogger for a major left-leaning thinktank, presented a community based radio show and spent time volunteering in East Africa.
Ros completed Masters and undergraduate degrees in Politics and International Relations at the University of Manchester.
