Lauren joined PLMR in 2011 after completing a law degree at Wolfson College, Cambridge. She also holds a double major BA in French and English Literature, obtained in her native Vancouver, Canada.
At Cambridge, Lauren was involved in various extra-curricular activities, including helping to organise a panel discussion on human trafficking and acting as President of the University of Cambridge Domestic Violence Action Group and Co-President of the Wolfson College Law Society.
She has won a string of academic awards, including the John Alexander McDonald Scholarship in the Humanities Award and the Alliance Française Prize from the University of British Columbia. Fluent in French, Lauren has undertaken translation and proofreading work and spent a memorable summer working in the CEO Office of the Vancouver Organising Committee for the 2010 Olympic Games.
