As a Senior Account Executive, Jonathan is responsible for delivering PR and Public Affairs support to clients spanning various sectors, focusing mainly on transport, financial services, education, and charities. His work involves monitoring media and parliamentary activity, managing press offices, and devising and supporting the implementation of PR and public affairs campaigns that support clients political and media aims.
Jonathan joined PLMR as a Research and Monitoring Executive from Hanover Communications, where he provided advocacy and research support across multiple sectors, including healthcare, financial services and TMT.
Jonathan also has political campaigning experience, having been seconded to Britain Stronger In Europe’s press office for the final six weeks of the referendum campaign. He also volunteered throughout the 2016 London Mayoral Election campaign.
Outside of work, Jonathan enjoys supporting charities close to his heart. He ran the Cardiff half-marathon in 2012, and the Manchester Marathon in 2016 for Meningitis Now and volunteered for Oxfam at Glastonbury Festival.
Jonathan completed his degree at the University of Birmingham, graduating with a First Class Honours in BA History, for which he specialised in contemporary British political history.
Jonathan was shortlisted for the 2016 Douglas Smith Prize for Young Public Affairs Practitioner of the Year.
